I sleep more then anyone I know, I mean ... I sleep a lot, a whole damn lot. I would soon enough sleep a thousand years to sleep a single night, today I missed the world and existence and everything etc.etc. because I slept right on through...
I changed my other profile, I only kept the LJ friends I care enough to read... So, I assume this is a decent thing, my uncle and aunt having left this place, i figure i should do something i care about. Death, can be a great motivator.
So, I started there... why not?
I don't know what will become of this journal, i really don't ... perhaps nothing, perhaps everything, i think this journal is my serious attempt at leading a clean, ethical mind. My other journal is now just a place to download everything.
I'm really not impressed as I use to be with famous people ... Everyone has to take a shit, every once in a while... everyone wipes there butt, It's hard being cool wiping your butt.
I'm not even impressed with myself... especially not myself, as If i ever was... It's time to grow up. |

1. went to an art gallery for Jeni Spota ... she's currently selling one of her drawings for twelve hundred dollars. This is in a new and exclusive gallery in Chelsea.
2. the party after the gallery for friends of said artist was interesting.... at a really swank club with ladies & gentlemen buying 12 dollar gin and tonic's (well gin too). Listening to Busta Rhyme's all white people ... very white people at that. This was on a rooftop and we had to say "Prishka" to get in. I think AJ was the only black guy who was there that wasn't working there. It was tre F. Scott Fitzgerald ... so pretentious I had to leave early and no one in my party put up any arguement. There were around 7 of us all together.
2A. You want culture? Get drunk at a dive bar somewhere in a hipster location, make a scene watch the reactions - You will learn what it means to be truly alienated. New York City just doesn't want to dance.
3. Dan Deacon is putting out a record on Locust Music ... the record label that release's reynols, tetuzi akiyamaau, apothecary hymns,steffen basho-junghans,bauder/ajemian,sir richard bishop,tod dockstader,chris delaurenti,dragons 1976,ekg,espers,et sans, henry flynt,allen ginsberg,erdem helvacioglu,michael hurley,lau nau,le doigt de galilee,timothy leary,matmos,christof migone,ilhan mimaroglu,no. 9,kenneth patchen,reynols,ramon sender,alan watts among others = cool beans = http://www.locustmusic.com/
3A. collaborating with Dan on some spoken word radio broadcasts with WFMU soon. Should be fun.
4. Internet connection in brooklyn is "broken"?.
5. I have never been hornier then right now... I can't check out free Internet porn. It's getting me really stupid.
6. I think New Orleans is a fucked up situation being made even worse by an administration that is so out of touch with the reality of poor people - clearly shown in there lack of programs before New Orleans for the poor. And I'm really glad Howard Stern keeps playing the "HEY CHENEY! FUCK YOU!" snippet/loop. Cheney and Bush and Rice and that pathetic excuse for a spineless wormy gurd Scotty McClellan not to mention the disgusting and now extinct Michael Brown should all burn in hell. There actually already in the 7th level ... there souls are already there, they just have to expire and it's GO time!
7. If New Orleans were full of rich, white CEO's ... I can imagine how this entire travesty would have played out differently. Instead Old Mother Bush goes LET THEM EAT CAKE and Condi shops for shoes two days after Katrina breaks on Madison avenue.
8. I think it's really sad that I have to keep in mind ... what uneducated, poor people will do in desperate situations. I mean it make's me consider how thinly veiled the chaos is and how our little "civilization" can break down over night because of poor, stupid people. I can also imagine how if this hit New York City, there would not be nearly the crime and road warrior-ness we are witnessing. New Orleans was a shithole before Katrina and the devastation just had a polarizing effect on everyone ... some becoming hero's, some becoming a waste of space, time & matter.
9. I have donated money & blood to the red cross but considering the horrible job our government is doing in handling the situation I'd be surprised if my contributions make any difference at all.
10. I think someone should stop George Bush and I can't wait for the protest in DC at the end of the month. |

[Aug. 30th, 2005|08:39 am] |
I found my sound recorder on my computer and have a functioning mic.... SO, I can now hear myself think. I noticed a lot of what I think is really boring.... unless you appreciate the sound of slow erosion.
One thing I found, in my adventure to find suitable material to record was this strange paragraph of staggering genius.
"The theory of form"s states that the actualization of ideas into material means that all things are imperfect. This imperfection being absolute is perfection. The very act of chaos plays into this ... the tendency of nature to always travel from orderly to disorderly in essence creates a perpetual imperfection. and this perfection arises from disorder, because disorder is one of the few staple characteristics of the universe."
a picture of this:
(1.)Idea -------- (2.)Form On Earth: its imperfect ->->->->->->-(3.)((chaos and disorder and decay of object))->->->-> (4.)constant destruction of the imperfect idea ->->->->-> (5.)chaos is an absolute & universal law - it can go no further and do nothing more. This is perfect.
.... I guess the destruction of things makes them universal and that is perfect and utlimate and I suppose beautiful. |

when I was a little kid, maybe around 11 I went to washington DC with my family for my cousin's wedding, we stayed in this ridicously posh Hotel, with glass elevators and everything. Well, I remember that I was sort of creeped out by the room going into it... just a slight feeling of unease and then we went out that day, did fun stuff with my extended family and came back to sleep, in the middle of the night I woke in absolute unreasoning fear just paralyzed with fright and I eventually got up enough courage to get out of my dead and say that i thought the floor was "pet cemetary" or something .... I was scared to death to touch the carpet and the floor or look in the mirror which i really can't remember - (although i now hate mirrors and reflective surfaces I have a strong aversion to them ... they creep me out) - I couldn't also look into the tv screen ... then I made my dad come into my bedroom to sit with me until I fell asleep.
So It was just this fear ... this insane and ridiculous fear of the floor of my hotel room that I couldn't really understand or comprehend, so I wonder what that was all about.
I seem to have done this a lot growing up... I once thought I had a calling to be the head of the church of satan, then i would play terrible mind games growing ... saying, "If I don't touch this lamp 5 times and then stand on one foot or something I would go to hell when I died"... which is kinda creepy.
Also, when I was a little kid I use to have to sleep next to my parents bed and come and check on them complusively. I remember "dracula" being in my room when I was very young ... like 5 or 6 and staring out of the dark at me. One time after crawling across the floor so i could sneak into my parents bedroom and sleep on the floor I ran out when my mom woke up (my mom would get very furious at these actions... saying how i was acting and foolish and invading her privacy) and jumped into my own bed ... I felt a "skeleton" in my bed. It was so scary I just broke down and cried and stayed up all night staring out the window.
I would also have to sleep with my bedroom door open for years and years, i still don't like sleeping in a closed off room. |

Plato You scored 35 realism, 75 rationalism, 81 materialism, and 0 atomism! | Your philosopher is Plato (c. 427 BC c. 347 BC), an immensely influential classical Greek philosopher, student of Socrates, teacher of Aristotle, writer, and founder of the Academy in Athens. You divide the world into two distinct aspects: the intelligible world of "forms" and the perceptual world we see around us. You see the perceptual world, and the things in it, as imperfect copies of the intelligible forms or ideas. These forms are unchangeable and perfect, and are only comprehensible by the use of the intellect or understanding. The ultimate idealist, you believe in the virtue of humanity, the purity of music, the essence of morality.
My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender: | You scored higher than 35% on realism | | You scored higher than 75% on rationalism | | You scored higher than 81% on materialism | | You scored higher than 0% on atomism |

Pure Nerd 69 % Nerd, 30% Geek, 43% Dork | For The Record:
A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.
You scored better than half in Nerd, earning you the title of: Pure Nerd.
The times, they are a-changing. It used to be that being exceptionally smart led to being unpopular, which would ultimately lead to picking up all of the traits and tendences associated with the "dork." No-longer. Being smart isn't as socially crippling as it once was, and even more so as you get older: eventually being a Pure Nerd will likely be replaced with the following label: Purely Successful.
Congratulations!
Also, you might want to check out some of my other tests if you're interested in either of the following:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Professional Wrestling
Love & Sexuality
Thanks Again! -- THE NERD? GEEK? OR DORK? TEST
My test tracked 3 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender: | You scored higher than 72% on nerdiness | | You scored higher than 32% on geekosity | | You scored higher than 76% on dork points |

Im obsessed with the movie Party Monster, If I had seen this movie earlier ... my life might be a lot more organized. That whole club kids scene was so amazing, all the freaks were beautiful and everyone looked so fabulous and it just made sense. Only the music really sucked. I would love to be a part of that scene with music that didn't suck so tremendously and more of an S&M approach. I think violence, be it destructive, sadistic, masochistic, creative etc. is so much better then merely dancing pain can alter your consciousness, pain can give you visions but very few people can or will step up and practice violence ... personally I want a cilice with glitter all over it. |

I think me and mike are going to collaborate, I have a feeling that we both just want to fuck shit up, new york style.
Non of this pretty boy ... VHS or Beta? nonsense rock... non of this conformist, sell out shlock stock. Once you accept, your never going to be hot or cool but a creepy jerk all your life... well, things change... don't they?
I don't even care about heavy metal, heavy metal is a waste of time ... you get the same effects through process generated biofeedback. Hook up a brainwave machine to a program that just emits the sonic equal of your brainwaves during sleep - have it programmed right and you don't even have to be awake to rock and make crazy unpredictable sonic soundscapes. You just need fancy helmets and bannana's...
Its time to fuck shit up... Im tired of no one wanting to be anti-anything, everything is so safe and consumer friendly. Even the avant garde and art world is safe and friendly and just boring.
I don't want fans. I don't teenage girls to try and dress like they understand what im about, i don't want fan boys to pretend and be slick and down with it. I want alienate and force people out of the comfort zone, because only then will people give me any space and maybe see how fake and small and stupid there conventions and beliefs and crass american attitudes really are.
I think I would like to make terrorism rock. |

| | Electrical Language - Be Bop Deluxe | ] | holy awesome, holy f u c k i n awesome, I went to the Apocolypse Lounge tonight ... and saw dan, and paul and art lord perform ... it was fun, just the gang and shit ... free show, a lot of people I don't know showed up. Business as Usual.
Then, we found out later that David Cross was DJ'ing at some bar around the corner, and it was an open bar ... so we went, it was awesome... got real drunk. He played crappy pop claptrap, whateva... then Allen Cordell, my friend who is directing Some Kind of Awful and he got into a friendly conversation ... so he introduced the crew, who was with him and everything and being who we are ... we totally stood the fuck out in that lame ass lower east side bar, and he gave Allen his E-mail address so he could write to him about possibly being in Some Kind of Awful ... then, we got drunk and he played lamer music and we ditched out. He's gonna be in L.A. next week ... for some movie he's making, but he said he would write back to Allen about Some Kind of Awful.
Which is totally blowingc my mind sideways. Mr.Show ... Tobias ... The Outlaw Ronnie Dobbs ... is cool with my friends and wants information about being in some silly fucked up surreal comedy we're making.
This is like waking into a vat of sunshine and swallong moonbeams as Severus Snape opens his heart and crys on my shoulder. This is so unreal, I'm amazed.

welcome to the machine ...
songs that make my boring existence seem a little more romantic, I just can't stand those types of songs anymore these days... selling proxy by the wayside, make me smile as I plug into the machine, my ass!
Rock'n'Roll and why it's beautiful - unplug from the machine in sweat and sex and drunken beauty, in the moment ... what could be more romantic?
Sometimes telling the two apart can be a lifetime's work, sometimes those who proclaim to unplug others ... are themselves victims of a bigger machine, how I tell the difference ... one make's me happy to just be, the other makes me want to be... something/anything then you've set yourself up to be knocked down like a bowling pin by commericialism and there in lies the evil behind "selling out" or being "sell outs" ... it's not making a buck. It's that your using the medium of human liberation and fun times to convince people there not pretty, smart, cool, decent etc.etc. enough... and only there product can carry you to valhalla. Which is lame and shitty and stinks of BS posturing.
being is the key, to turn off that machine. Once it's turned off I gurantee It's like your on the strongest fucking drugs ever and every moment feels like blue sky eternity, as the clock slowly fades away.
However, its a really shitty and lame thing to use and abuse people for fame and fortune at the expense of art and being truly beautiful.
and here in is why daniel johnston rules while good charlotte was/is pure toxic lame. |

I'm slowly but surely coming to the realization that americans don't understand politics on the level that they need to understand politics. I'm not saying this simply because I'm a liberal in a nation of conservatives. I'm saying this because of the polls reflected here .... a simple little rinkydinkydoo aol poll questionnaire: http://aolsvc.news.aol.com/news/article.adp?id=20050718100009990025&ncid=NWS00010000000001
Karl Rove is a horrible, vile pig man ... and no one seem's to understand how vile. Also, in some survey of the best american of all time ... in a category with George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Martin Luther King Jr. and Abe Lincoln, just to name a few ... Ronald Reagon won as the best american of all time. I really don't know how the fuck something like this could have come to pass .... I mean, the guy who won freedom for our nation, the guy who set up our american ethos (at its finest), the guy who fought for intergration and end to civil injustice and not to mention the guy who kept the union in the United States and freed slaves.
Of course I blame a lot of this on revisionary history, who would only point out that washington had slaves, jefferson had an affair with a slave, king was an adulterer and lincoln really didn't care about ending slavery. That bullshit rhetoric which makes people vote for ralph nader, instead of logically thinking it through to get our nation back from these insane right wingers who proclaim the greatest american was the president who was involved in the Iran-Contra scandal, wouldn't mention Aids until a critical mass demanded he do so ... and my favorite, was the president who demanded a "war on drugs" while establishing the escalating prices for medicine the pharmaticuel industry thrives on ... so you have what we have today, people dying because they can't afford medicine and medical care since it's so expensive and an idiology which supports this on the basis that medical care for everyone would make it really hard for people who can afford medical care to get medical care if the poor got it also, all the while the introduction of crack cocaine to inner cities by the CIA who going on during his "war on drugs". And listen if your saying no to drugs, your probably on drugs ... since you should say no to drug dealers.
I seriously think If more people just turned on Air America Radio ... they might see another perspective, one that doesn't worship the almighty dollar over science, ecological progress, seperation of church and state and the manipulation of language to swindle and convince the uninformed in positions unfavorable to them. |

I hung out with my matt today, I really like him ... we went to see Fantastic Four which was super fun. Then we went to Lee's art supply shop, he needed to buy some graphic art pens for tiny detail. Then, we went to this place called the "the brooklyn diner" ... we left that place, 15 dollars for a burger and fries ... $8.25 for a milk shake! Our punk rock dna kicked in and we had to get out fast!
So we went to the carnegie deli and had a roast beef sandwich was really good. Those sandwhichs are so huuuuge! I love it!
I picked up the lastest issue's in the countdown to infinite crisis in the DC universe. I'm such a nerd. |

ok for the record ... I think noise rock coupled with grunge rock with an avant garde sensibility... playing R&B ... if done right. Would be the most amazing sound ever. It would sum up very nicely the zeitgeist of 2005.

I usually don't bother telling people about the details of my life... but I gave blood today and the guy sucking the juice had to poke like ten times to find a vein... he asked If I found it painful, I would normally lie and say "no... it's fine", instead I told him flat out... "yeh, it hurts a little".
Only 5% percent of americans actually give a damn, so what better way to spite them then caring... plus, I'm universal. |
